About Heartwood Tree Company
🌳 Our Story
Established in 2021 in Tendring, our arboricultural services company was founded to bring a new level of quality and minimal ecological impact to the industry. We saw a need for tree management services that truly prioritised the well-being of the trees and the environment, while still delivering exceptional customer service and results.

At Heartwood, we take a personalised approach to every job we undertake. From the initial site visit and advice to the finishing cut and clear-up, we work closely with our customers to ensure we meet their requirements and objectives while also taking into account the specific biomechanics and characteristics of each tree. We follow the industry standard (BS3998:2010) to ensure the highest quality of work and customer satisfaction.

Our team has a combined 25 years industry experience, and is made up of experienced and qualified professionals who share our commitment to quality, customer service.
Led by director and lead arborist Jack Hale, our team has over 25 years of experience in the industry and a passion for making a positive impact through our work.
🎓Certifications & Qualifications
We take pride in our certifications and qualifications, which demonstrate our commitment to upholding the highest standards in the industry.
Our team holds a range of qualifications, including a Level 4 Certificate in Arboriculture, a Technician Membership of the Arboricultural Association, a range of NPTC chainsaw qualifications and safe use of a wood chipper, and emergency first aid. We also proudly display our Woodsure “Ready To Burn” certification to show the quality and legal conformity of our firewood.
These qualifications and memberships ensure that we are always up to date with the latest industry developments and best practices, and can deliver the highest quality of service to our customers.
